Constantly being logged out

Until recently I've stayed pretty much constantly logged in to MN when using my phone (IPhone, Safari). Suddenly it's started demanding I log in with email address and password every time I switch on (and often just after a pause or doing something else on the phone). This is despite the "keep me logged in" box being ticked every time. I don't post often and I can browse without being logged in but it's annoying losing my settings so I can't see op in a different colour for example. Is there a reason this has happened, or anything I can do about it?

Bump. Anyone else having this problem?

Can we just ask, are you using private browsing?

No - or not as far as I'm aware. Recently changed my provider and there was some messing round with settings then - but no intention of going to private browsing, and not sure where on settings I'd find it.

I've just been logged out.Then I was logged in again without doing anything. Very strange.

Ah. Checked out now and it seems private browsing was on. Turned it off and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks very much

Ah, great! Thanks for letting us know LucretiaBourgeois, glad to hear it's sorted. Highalert could you also check to see if you're accidentally switched to private browsing?

@KatherineMumsnet I've been having the same issue - I keep being logged out every time I switch out of Mumsnet. I do use private browsing, have you twiddled with a setting or something, as it's only been a problem over this last day or so? Is this a new feature, or a temporary glitch?
