People think their photos haven't uploaded

It's really common for posters to add photos to a post, and then - I assume because it takes significantly longer for photos to upload etc - see their unadorned post and think the attachment didn't work, sometimes then posting again. Which then makes browsing the thread slower for everyone. Would it be possible to put in some sort of warning that a delay between posting a photo and its appearance is normal?

Thanks so much for flagging.

We're not currently aware of a delay when posting pictures but tech is taking a look into this.

In the meantime, if anyone else has been having issues here, could you let us know?

It's not much of a delay - just that the text of a post can appear 'instantly' without the photo, leading people to think they did something wrong or it didn't work.
