A thread is hidden from me and I don't know why

I'm a regular poster on the mlm thread in money matters.

Yesterday I go to money matters, no sign of the thread. I ask has it been moved, people have responded saying it's there, they can see it no problem.

I then open a new tab in my browser, google mlm botwatch 29 which is the thread title, and there it is, with new posts and everything. So the thread is there, it's active, yet it's not visible to me on the money matters board, he only way I can access it is by searching for the thread on google.

What the chuff is going On?

Did you accidentally hide the thread? You can go to your customise options on mumsnet settings and check I believe. If you did, you can unhide the thread.

I would say you have accidentally hidden it. It's very easy to do and it happens to me all the time!

Are you on a tablet? I find that sometimes the screen jumps, possible as an ad loads, and instead of clicking "add message" I click hide and don't notice. Or I mis-click on the list of active conversations.

At the bottom of Active Conversations is a link to manage hidden threads.

Hi OP - what SoupDragon said! It sounds like you've accidentally hidden it. Let us know if that's definitely not the case, though.

Can't see the link to manage conversations, I'm on active threads now.
