And yes, it is a pita

I'm on an iPad and this seems to affect how it scrolls, ie it's laggy and annoying.

WaitrosePigeon · 23/05/2017 16:55

Yes I've just got this. Very annoying.

Annoying when you also have a big banner encroaching from the top too! Glad it's not just me then!

Hi,

I am really sorry you are experiencing this issue - I will work with our technological team now and get to the bottom of this and hopefully get this sorted for you.
Kind regards

Same here. I thought half the threads were missing because of the big white space! 😂

ClopySow · 23/05/2017 17:29

Aye, between that and the sidebar ads.

Viserion · 23/05/2017 18:27

Gleam that is just perfect. There's a fuck off great big advert which keeps going white, on your post!

Ariawyn · 23/05/2017 18:34

You calling me fat??? Ok I could do with dropping a few pounds, but that's just harsh....

I'd sooner have a big advert in the middle of the thread, than at the side of it, making the readable area ridiculously small if I'm using my phone.

AgentProvocateur · 23/05/2017 18:52

It's migraine inducing.

@LegoCaltrops

if you go in to a page that has these, go out and then go back - the ads will go

FlissMumsnet · 23/05/2017 19:38

Hi Everyone,

We are aware these ads can be frustrating and we're looking into it for you. Would you please post your thoughts/screenshots on the below thread to keep all the info in the same place.

Thanks a lot

I bloody hate the adverts and would happy pay a small fee for an ad-free site

First there was the Radox advert running down a vertical quarter of my phone screen, as well as across the top. It went that there were only about 6 words to a line!

Then, there's the adverts in the middle of a thread. Like this...
