Question for Tech!!??

Hi. I emailed you about a query, and got a generated message back asking me to reply and then it would stop you receiving spam (or much more succinct words to that effect) well, I did respond as requested... but still no reply from mumsnet regarding my question.
A little worried now that I have responded to some virus or something Could you confirm that mumsnet sends out those types of requests upon receipt of an email??

Pretty sure they don't Ready. IIRC Tech was looking into a problem on the CAT system similiar to this.

Oh no. It came through from the "contactus@mumsnet" address. I don't know what on earth to do now.

I had one of those replies to my question, i did as it asked and got an answer the next day.

That's a relief that they do send out those requests... thanks! I've emailed them again, in case they didn't get my response.

Please don't worry - it is a legitimate email. We had a major spam problem so have had to resort to this spam filter. The good news is once you've responded once to the email you don't have to do it again.
