Can't 'watch' threads

Hi,
I'm new here and only downloaded the app this morning, but can't seem to watch threads, I click watch but when I go to the 'watching' section at the bottom it states that there is 'nothing here'.

I also can't seem to change my username...

Any help appreciated.

Hi there OP and welcome to mumsnet . Could you send over which mobile you are using (iPhone, Samsung etc) - we'll then ping that info on over to tech who will have a look at what might be causing the thread watching glitch.

As for the username change - if you are changing your username on the app, you need to tap on Active (bottom left). There are then three lines that appear in the top right of the screen. Tap on the lines and then tap on, 'My Mumsnet'. Hopefully that should take you to where you need to be to change your username. Let us know if not.

I am using an iPhone 5s.
I followed your instructions to change the username, put one in and was told it's available. Then hit the button to save it, but it just keeps saying it couldn't do it and to check my connection... but I can use the rest of the app fine so clearly my connection is ok

Oh wait, I just tried one more time to update my username and it seems to have worked this time
