Games Warehouse images

The giant images from the Games Warehouse ads (top banner and side banners) are slowing everything down to the extent the page won't load. I also find the images very unpleasant (the lightening flash/crackles hurt my eyes), but that's just personal taste I guess.

Sorry this is bothering you! Could you let us know what device/browser you are using, and also send over a screenshot for us? This would really help us pin down the issue. Is it a particular page or topic that this ad is popping up on?

Using Chrome on a laptop. Have got a screenshot and will send it over now (took a while for that particular ad to crop up again as I assume they're in some sort of rotation). It freezes with just the name of the game for about 3 minutes, and then the rest of the image usually loads with all the crackling electricity pictures.
