how to change my password when I can't remember my password?

Hello,

I want to change my username but to do that I need to enter my password. I can't remember my password so I went the new password section of My Mumsnet and entered a new one. To confirm it I have to put in my password, but I can't remember my password...

Please help!

How frustrating, and also how distressing to think that one of our favourite names will be no more. We assume you've logged out and tried to log back in and asked for a password reset? (Make sure you still have access to the email you used to sign up, though).

Um, no I haven't tried to do that , I am tech 101. Also I was a bit worried that once I had logged out I would never be able to get back in...
I think my name is too long, no?
