Links automatically created

Have noticed today that links appear to be created automatically when people type shops etc in. So eBay, Amazon etc.

I am sure that people are not doing it themselves and certainly won't be creating links every time they say eBay in a post.

Why is this happening?

Can now see it has happened on my post and I definitely didn't create links to ebay!

It's a new thing. MNHQ put up a thread about it yesterday, here in Site Stuff.

Sticky thread called 'Skimlinks' at the top of the Site Stuff page.

Sorry I can't C&P at the moment.
