Ads taking over the page

I understand why MN needs to have ads and the value of the site to the advertisers, but I'd estimate that 50% of the page is now taken up with adverts. Is this going to continue so that the MN content will appear in a sidebar with the main page being ads? (On laptop, Firefox, Windows 7)

What format are you referring to please? Can I see a screenshot of the ad?
I am hoping it is a bug as content should not appear ina sidebar.

Sorry to confuse matters with my attempt at sarcasm, Angie - the content is not appearing in a sidebar! I was just speculating that if the ads increased their size the content would be reduced to an inferior position. Screen shot won't attach as it says Photo 1 must be at least 90 pixels wide and high. Could email you a copy if that helps - Kia Picanto ad across the top third of the screen and extending down both sides.
