It was the rafts of new threads in relationships which are have a low probability of being true that made me think of it... you could look and think blimey that numbers high and jumpt to the conclusion that there's probably a very bored person filling some time..

Actually I'd lilke to see some stats on how often a thread is viewed (rather than say posted upon). Take a thread with about 20 posts on from about a week ago? Other forums seem to have at least 10 viewings for each post - I was wondering what the MN lurker stats were like.

yeah that's not bad... but quite often I open a whole load of threads and think... 'nah' lol

I guess that's my point. I must read at least 10 threads or so for everyone I bother to post on, and I guess others are the same or even worse.

I unintentionally spooked someone on here about something I knew about them, but it was only from reading what they had written on another thread. And I can't be the only one.

lol, I'm the same LM.. sometimes it's cos I can't be arsed, sometimes it's because there is so much intelligent conversation going on in the thread, sometimes there's much better advice than I could offer etc
