Site regularly unresponsive on iPad?

Anyone else having this issue? It was happening last week also. I try to reply to a thread, or navigate between pages etc and nothing happens. Closing out of the site and then opening it again sometimes works, sometimes not. (It did work just now, obviously )

This is still happening a lot. The site just hangs, and the only way I can browse is to close it and reopen it. I'm using safari on iPad.
Anyone else?

It's been driving me nuts for ages, thought it was maybe just because my iPad is too old to update to iOS10?

What ad blocker are you using Polter?

Yes. Exactly the same problem here, been going on for a couple of weeks now. On the plus side, it's really cutting down my time on MN.

By any chance, do you remember the ADS that were appearing whilst the problems were occurring?

My iPad 2 using safari does this too. Frequently reloads the page but I don't think it's just mumsnet it affects it happens loads on things like buzzfeed etc. it might be the adverts or jus the age of the ipad

My iPad is too old for AdBlock Plus seems it's too old for any adblocker.
It works fine on every other site, it's just Mumsnet I have the freezy problems with.

I have it too. Mine is an iPad mini 4 on IOS 10. It seems to be worse first thing in the morning. I usually get one or two pages and then it freezes. Has been going on for a few weeks.

It's only mumsnet that it happens with, for me. I'm using adblocker now, and it seems to be working better.

I had this problem for months and months. Kept posting here about it and each time it was treated as if it was a new problem. It was not.

Much better since I installed Adblock Plus but still glitchy at times - especially around 1am.

MNHQ had previously posted on a thread and said that what they were doing to block the porn pop-ups had this side effect...
