discount requested for Cath Kidston!!!

Hello Mumsnet Towers,

On behalf of the ladies due in June 2007 (and doubtless, countless others) I'm filing a request that MN attempt to get MN'ers a discount on Cath Kidston items.

No idea how MN would go about doing this, but we have a lot of shopping power to wield (just check out our threads!!).

I like the cups and have bought a key fob and purse and I quite like one of the handbags, the clothes aren't really my taste along with the fabric but its got some good stuff, suppose its like any store some things you like and others you don't!

I ordered stuff from their sale in June and it came in August. No reply to my online complaint whatsoever. Their customer service is appalling. I ordered 8 things in the sale (online they were in stock) and got precisely 1 of them. Absolutely useless. If I buy anything I get it off Ebay at least I know it will turn up.

nothing to be embarrassed about, I find some of her stuff really cheery and bright and love the stars mugs, crockery etc and I really love the pop flowers there is a lovely red handbag in gyspy red that i'm contemplating getting. Have to agree with secondhandrose tho coz i ordered some stuff in the sale which the site said was in stock and only got half the items so I'm bracing myself for when my order arrives this week

the plainer stuff is ok eg the oilcloth tablecloths with just spots (but are much cheaper bought in say john lewis - only £10/metre)

I used to love Cath - I have bags, oilcloth tablecloths, wallpaper in kitchen and bathroom.

But even I am starting to think it's over.

Yeah Cath takes some getting used to. The first time I saw the stuff I said, no way is that going near my house. Strangely, it looks perfect once it's in there. And I'm dying for an excuse to go camping just so I can set up one of those lovely marquees...
