It is terribly terribly slow and I'm struggling to post. Can it be fixed for this evening please for all of us who are trying to reassure each other through the night?

I doubt it will ever happen, OYBBK.

I've just done an AS only using the word 'slow' and looking for thread titles only in Site Stuff.

This is the result www.mumsnet.com/SearchArch?mustmatch=slow&dontmatch=&nickname=&src_displ_option=s_t_d_t&fromDate=&toDate=&topicmode=chs&chosentops=1374. I bet loads of those threads go back years.

And I bet there are ten+ times the number of other threads about the 'slowness' too?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 08/11/2016 19:21

:( it's slower than dialup.

It's frustrating, isn't it?

It's the bloody adverts!!

Dial up entered my mind today and I hadn't thought of it for years. The lack of speed and pages constantly jumping up and down. This is the only site that causes me to swear constantly. God know what it is doing to my blood pressure, glutton for punishment, that's me Grin

iPhone. Chrome and safari

BoreOfWhabylon · 09/11/2016 23:33

ipad. safari. desktop

I've been complaining about this for months.

TrippyMcTrapFace · 12/11/2016 12:31

I've been complaining about this for months also.

I mostly use laptop with either Firefox or Chrome. Sometimes I'm using iPhone with Safari.

Much of the time it takes between 18-22 seconds for a page to load. Yes, I decided to use the waiting time for page load to check how long it was actually taking.
All other sites run fine.

Mumsnet has always been a slow site. Must be something to do with thir hosts.

00100001 · 14/11/2016 08:57

MNHQ - the devices are irrelevant. It's either the way your website is constructed or your hosting.
