Why are adverts covering threads?

I open the Primary Education board, immediately spot an interesting thread, but before I can click on it the advert covers it!

I wondered if I had mis-read, so left the board and return, for it to happen again. Surely this shouldn't be happening?

That does sound unusual - we'll look into it soonest
how are you accessing MN? Mobile? App? laptop?
Thanks

Sorry for the delay in replying - I'm on a laptop. But the all ads have gone now - I've just checked all the usual boards I visit and none to be seen.

It is doing it again! Again on Primary board, covering second or third thread down. If I close the internet and open it again it has gone!

I get it on site stuff.
The second from top thread is covered by an ad.
Laptop, Safari.

It's House of Horrors promoted by Ebay.

I am getting this on Chat and Site Stuff. It is usually about the third non sticky thread down. I am using a laptop and Windows 10.

This same problem was pointed out to Mumsnet last week on the thread they placed on the 'Site Stuff' board about 'Native adverts'.
