Ads on Mumsnet now just ridiculous

Firstly, they take so long to load that I'm frequently clicking on a link that moves and I end up somewhere else entirely - very annoying.

Secondly, some of the ads are like watching tv going on in the background of the thread - it's impossible to not be distracted by it. It's far worse than bloody tickers. It's making me look elsewhere for chat and I don't want to leave!

Yes - I have just had some godawful ad which MADE NOISE while I was browsing trying to get my sons to sleep. Combined with the flashing/flickering/moving ones which now seem to dominate the right hand side of the screen, and the occasional porn pop-up that I could realy do without, there is so little space for the actual website that it barely seems worth it.

Get an ad blocker. If porn is popping up it's likely that you have a malware programme installed and it's nothing to do with Mumsnet.
