OMG where did the zombie go?

When did you guys get rid of the zombie?! I've just scrolled down to the bottom of an old thread and instead of our friendly zombie there's just a flat "FYI this thread hadn't been posted on for over a year"

If you're going to mess around with it anyway, you could at least do what people have been asking for for ages and put a zombie warning at the top of the page as well as the bottom.

I would say it's because a lot of outsiders don't understand what a zombie thread is.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, that's correct - we have removed the warning at the top of thread in favour of the new 'FYI' by the message box.

I thought the zombie warning was always at the bottom? I use mobile mainly, if that makes a difference.

Phew, for a minute there I though Zombie had left, not just a zombie (and now I've said zombie too many times in my head and the word just sounds odd). But yeah, that little zombie with the red warning was useful and fun, #bringbackthezombie.

I have a Lindt bar to eat later, during Strictly It Takes Two. Simple pleasures.

People respond better to images. The zombie should be reinstated right in the middle of the message box.
