How do you search on the App?

I use the iPad app and need to find an old post because it's fallen off my watch list but I can't work out how to search for a thread. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I don't think you can on the app - might be wrong but I always have to open in safari to search

That's what I did in the end, I really hate it when technology isn't easy to use Sad
