It's frustrating that on the new app (iPhone) you can no longer search for topics in all the threads. Eg I can't type in 'wobbly tooth in toddler' and have all previous relevant posts come up. It's a huge downfall on the app, and it used to be possible.

Also, a notification if someone has replied to a thread you've started would also be nice.

(Please correct me if I'm just being oblivious and these things do exist )

You should be able to get into the main site via a browser, I think? Even on an iPhone. You could do those things there if needs be.

Yes but that kind of takes the point of the app away!

Agreed OP, massively miss this!

It does, I grant you, but apps are rarely as 'all-singing' as a main site so it's something you live with. (I mostly use the app but make forays to the main site when I need to.) The email notification when someone posts on a thread you started is a one-off journey in any case. It's the Advanced Search that you would miss the most if you use it a great deal.

I can't work out how to watch a thread on the app ....

To watch a thread slide the title to the left and an eye appears.

Then click the torch
