Just as a mater of curiosity - what does it stand for? A thread I was watching got deleted for being one.

But why? Previous to what? I still don't understand Blush

PurpleDaisies · 27/08/2016 20:50

catsofa it means on a previous occasion they behaved badly enough to earn a lifetime ban.

catsofa · 29/08/2016 23:49

Ah i see, thanks!

Not necessarily a troll either. Sometimes it's just repeated reporting for being goady/unpleasant or a trouble maker.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 30/08/2016 00:00

Not necessarily a lifetime ban and, as another poster said, not always for being a troll either. There is an extremely well known poster who keeps trying to sneak back in under a namechange.

Isn't that basically what a troll is?

BrianCoxReborn · 30/08/2016 08:21

A troll to me is someone who pretends to be something they aren't, preys on vulnerabilities (trolling the bereavement board for e.g.), gives a sobstory for financial gain or sucks people into elaborate fictional storylines

You can be banned for being a generally unpleasant presence on the board's, yet still be real person i.e. not a troll.
