Regular Down Time?

Dear MN Towers/ Fellow Mumsnetters,
On behalf of all of us who spend way too much time on here, to the detriment of children, housework and the world's economies, do you think it would be possible for MN to be unavailable during the hours of 9-1 and 2-5?
This was prompted by the fact that soooo many of us got what we're supposed to be doing done while MN was down today!!!!
I eagerly await your thoughts .

NOOOO. I've spent more than 1/2 my professional life creating and supporting 24/7/365 type systems - downtime sucks! ;-)

Bloody hell, are you mad, woman?

Sod the housework, sod the world economy ... hell, I'd even go so far as say sod the children! Take my MN away and I would have to kill you.
