Pop up spam again?

I was just on the Pokemon thread when a new window opened saying my phone has a virus blah blah.
I'm on android S7.

I've just got this on my phone too - how do I get rid of it safely? I've tried switching the phone off and restarting it, its still there.

Yes, this just happened to me! I have an Xperia Z1 (Android and Chrome). I had to delete all the data for my Chrome app to get rid of it.
