...so that we can only search based on the content or author of the original post (as opposed to the whole thread).

Sometimes you can remember specific details about the OP but a search brings up loads of threads cos the search string is in a million other posts.

While I have you attention - have you seen the slaps on can we have some of them too please???

Would it be possible to seach by incomplete names, using a wildcard. For example SlightlyMad* as this would account for seasonal name changes and the like.
