the box on the right hand side that has all the emotions and how to do links doesnt show up. It does when you are replying to a topic but doesnt in the create a conversation bit. Does that make sense? It did used to show up before but not now

I just noticed that too. Was it there before ?? I can't remember.

Fio2 · 07/06/2004 11:51

I am sure it used to be otherwise I would never have been able to remember how to do a link, not for the life of me I love these new emotions!

Well i can't do links anyway, with or without instructions

Hulababy · 07/06/2004 11:53

I don't think it has ever been there, which is why is some topics the link to a thread is in a second message. I remember noticing this and it was simply that people couldn't always remember how to do a link, had to put it in the second message, once the instructiosn were there. Does that make sense? Seems a bit waffling but kind of says what I mean

Hi all

We discussed this at our last tech meeting at mumsnet HQ and it's on the tech team's list of things to do as soon as they can. Apologies in the meantime, please bear with us.

Toothache · 07/06/2004 14:05

Hmmm, wonder what Mumsnet HQ looks like....

I imagine it's something along the lines of the Secret Services Test Centre for James Bonds gadgets.

Ah, well, while tech's looking at create a conversation: if it's your first post of that login, after you've previewed your nickname and password disappear and you have to type them in again.

If you've already posted on another thread that doesn't happen.

I think!
