Switched pages and a few times have then got such massive font sizes that the page is unreadable. Any ideas?

and I had to log in to be able to read anything - is that standard now as I keep forgetting my password and might not bother.

This sounds like what I get sometimes. Is it massive "mumsnet" words?
Very odd, but I thought it was just a glitch, as disappears when I refresh.
Literally can't see anything else on the screen apart from the words "mumsnet" as its so big it fills the screen!

PresidentOliviaMumsnet · 26/07/2016 21:39

Thanks for flagging this - we will get on the case asap

GarlicMistake · 27/07/2016 02:20

Ooh, PRESIDENT Olivia! Crown

I was just coming here to start a thread about your stylesheets failing to load. It's quite scary ... this is what OP's describing.

It also leads to invisible usernames on posts, invisible italics and several other weirdnesses. Stuff comes back when I refresh the page, but it's not ideal to have to do this.

Garlic! That's exactly what comes up on my screen!
Well done on getting a screen shot, I couldn't work out how to do it.

KatherineMumsnet · 27/07/2016 18:45

Thanks so much for the screenshot - most helpful. What device/browser are you using when this pops up?

GarlicMistake · 27/07/2016 19:03

I'm on a laptop running Windows 10, Katherine.

Disconcerting, isn't it, Buffalo!

NattyGolfJerkin · 27/07/2016 19:10

I get it on iPad running latest version of safari, too

PinkBuffalo · 27/07/2016 19:12

Very disconcerting! I honestly thought it was the tablet computer having a glitch every now and again.
Mine is an apple tablet, so looks like it might be across more than one device/make.

GarlicMistake · 27/07/2016 19:17

Oops, sorry - current browser is Opera, and it's the same in Firefox.

KickAssAngel · 27/07/2016 19:30

Me too - on a laptop using Chrome. Also then get the posts just as words in a list - no colored strips with the user name, time etc.

Waltons · 27/07/2016 20:27

Me too, and for a couple of days now. PC, Chrome.

alreadytaken · 27/07/2016 22:55

Chrome browser, laptop - and you haven't commented on the compulsory log it - but since I didnt have to do so today Im kind of assuming that was a fake pop up to steal log in details and am off to change password to one I'll forget again.

This evening has been bad for this. Nearly every time this is happening now.

lljkk · 04/08/2016 21:08

This started happening to me maybe 10days ago. But only like 1 thread in 50.
It's every 10th or so thread i try to open now, Last few days on a Macbook Pro, using Safari. I can work around it for now.

Nothing (the settings) on my Mac has changed.
