FOR MNHQ- HAS YOUR EMAIL BEEN HACKED?

I've received an email today alerting me to a private message by X member but the alert was sent to an email account that I've never ever used or registered with MN. I didn't click on the link to 'see my message' because I assumed this was fraud. Also, there is no message showing in my MN inbox. The email address on the email was [email protected]

I haven't done a name search (yet) to see if the supposed MN user name of the 'private message' exists but I doubt it does.

Hi there PollyPerky. This sounds rather odd. Do you want to drop us a line at [email protected] and we can have a look behind the scenes at your account and double check it's nothing to do with us. In the meantime, yes, sounds wise to not touch it.

It sounds like a phishing mail. Have MN not had them before, Iona?
