Bump

I get the 'bump' stuff on a new thread but I really don't understand it when a thread is well established. Can anyone explain this to me ?

Bring up my post. Wink

Just to bring it to the top of the list so that more people click on it.

Hi elephant,

What they ^ all said. Grin

If a thread hasn't been posted on for a while (even an 'established' thread) it drops down out of the list of Active Conversations and can get forgotten about. So an OP will occasionally post a 'bump' message to bump it back to the top of the list so it'll be seen and (hopefully) posted on again.

Hope that makes sense!
