I was on a thread yesterday. It stopped appearing in my Threads I'm On, but if I looked in AIBU I could find it. But then it disappeared altogether. There was no deletion message or anything. It just went 'poof'.

Is this a new thing?

It sounds like an error rather than a 'thing'.

Sorry - just occurred to me. Were you viewing it on the app? It's only on the browser site that, if removed, it carries the deletion message. Otherwise, you might just have gone in to look at it as it was being taken away and - on the app - it would just appear to go 'poof'.

Nope not the app. I am a conscientous objector to the app.

I would normally see the deletion message on my lap top. But nothing.

It sounds like a glitch/error of some kind then - unless another poster/staffer knows differently?

It was someone moaning about her DP's poisonous STBExW. She was getting a bit of a pasting from everyone except a poster called Kittens something (not OYBBK).

She was a first time poster and was pretty naive about AIBU.

2 deleted yday that I was on. Not that one though. Has the frequency of deletions increased recently?

LIZS I don't know what the official HQ stance would be on your question, but I've definitely noticed more deletions and less pussy footing around and trying to be nice coming from HQ recently.
I like it better this way .
