Why does my profile think I started posting on Mumsnet before I did?

I know I started posting in March 2004. So why does it come up as July 2003 in my profile?

I assume it takes the date you first registered, even if you didn't post for ages.

But I'm sure I didn't find Mumsnet until after DS was born and he was born in November 2003. Maybe I lurked and just don't remember .

Have you got your registration email (I'm a saddo, and kept mine)? Should match up.

(err, obviously if you've kept your registration email too that doesn't make you a saddo - sorry!).

Nope, I didn't keep it. Oh well, I will just have to celebrate my Mumsnet birthday earlier than I thought .
