Help needed with adding number of kids on profile page

I have just filled in my profile form to set up a page about myself. On the bit where it says 'number of children you have' I can't see how to add the number of children. When clicked on, it gives options of 'don't show' 'show has kids vs don't have kids' (?) 'show if each boy/girl' and 'show their names and ages.' How do I just add 3 (for number of children) in that box? When I viewed my page it said 'MummyPenguin does not have kids' Yikes!! I don't want people thinking I'm some sort of weirdo!!

You need to add them to your registration, then your profile will pick them up.

Have added my three dc's birth dates in the 'birth due date' box on my registration, and it's come up with 22/02/2096 !! ?? WTF?
Oh dear, I'm really not very good at this sort of thing. I have mentioned in my profile page, that I am a full time Mum of three, so that may have to suffice.

If you look under the Save changes boxes at the bottom of the registration page, there's a link to check that your children's details are correct - don't use the due date - that's for children you're still pregnant with.

Thanks JackieNo, have now added the dc's dates of birth in the relevant bit. Should I now change the 'MummyPenguin has no children' on my profile page, or will it be done automatically?

Sorry.

I think as long as you've got it set to one of the options that includes telling people about children, it should fill it in automatically (I think).

Just looked and it says you have 3 children. So it's worked.

Oh thanks JackieNo, you are a star. I, on the other hand, am a shameless technophobe.

NO worries. That really would have been the longest pregnancy on record - 2096.
