With all this new fangled member profile kerfuffle can we please have something on home page to say how many mn'ers are logged in?

27 million Mumsnetters are logged in right now...soon to drop to 3 when the BB eviction is on.

but it wouldn't be true because I am logged in 24/7 and also when I am on other sites it would say I am still here, if I started mumsnetting in the morning but minimized the page and left comp on to feed kids lunch it would think I was still here

BlueDaisy - I thought something along these lines would be useful. Having a list of people logged in would be good but I guess Mumsnet is so HUGE it wouldn't be possible.

But being logged in is different from being online. I'm always logged in, but I'm not always sitting at my computer waiting to find someone to talk to!
