is there a way of hiding entire topics?

I love mumsnet and probably spend a couple of hours a day on here. I only usually use my active feed and manually hide irrelevant (to me) threads.
These are nearly always in the same topics. ie, Pets for instance as I don't have or want any. It can be annoying and time consuming (and I've noticed they don't always stay hidden ...?)
Is it possible to stop entire topics coming up?
If it isn't it'd be great if MNHQ could look into possibly making it a thing in the future!

You can do it already, think you need to be on Desktop, if you find the Customise link, under an arrow next to Talk at the top of the page, open it, scroll down to the bottom there is a link for managing what you hide, either whole topics or threads. I have a lot if topics hidden.
