It mKES MY SPIRITS SINK.
Have people really nothing better to do and more to the point, who cares??

CountessDracula · 19/01/2007 18:59

that's what i mean by tragic
Lives so empty that they sit around watching arseholes and morons

I really cannot watch it, if we flick on by accident I can't flick back soon enough

moondog · 19/01/2007 19:01

In the context of what I am learning about Skinner's theories of behaViourism and operant conditioning,it does all however make complete sense.

foxinsocks · 19/01/2007 19:02

aaaaaaaaarrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

oranges · 19/01/2007 19:03

okay, everyone go have a glass of wine and CHILL, And do NOT put the telly on - you'll only be tempted to have a look.

DizzyBint · 19/01/2007 19:04

lives so empty they sit around on mn talking about people with lives so empty they watch arseholes and morons

why even comment on it?

you are as interested in how uninteresting it is as those who are interested in how interesting it is.

moondog · 19/01/2007 19:04

The tv is never on in my house anyway.
I find it all depressing.

Yes DB,that's the whole point m'dear.
Why does it hold people in thrall?
That is very interesting indeed.

CountessDracula · 19/01/2007 19:06

no I am not interested in it or people who watch it

I read dd's Wallace and Grommit magazine while they talked about it last night on the fucking 10 o'clock news on the bbc FFS

I couldn't give a toss if the whole thing was canned tomorrow

OP posts:
DizzyBint · 19/01/2007 19:08

but it's obviously bothering you that it's bothering so many people.

i find it hilarious.

myturn · 19/01/2007 19:08

It was just on the news again

Is BB really the most important thing happening in the world at the moment? The BBC seem to think so...

CountessDracula · 19/01/2007 19:09

no it just irritates me that I have to look at threads about it

Rammed down my throat wherever I look

Lowest common denominator etc

I started one of the threads in the topic 'In The News' because it is in the news. I'm amazed at how many threads there are on it now though....
Will wander back to my sad, empty life now....

foxinsocks · 19/01/2007 19:22

I just don't get it though

I can't see why it is interesting - I did try and watch a little bit when it first came out to see why it was popular but I still couldn't get over the feeling that I really didn't give a shit about what happened to any of the people in the house

foxinsocks · 19/01/2007 19:25

I did have a chuckle at the Daily Mail's coverage of it the other day

front page story basically saying why is it considered news, why are we so bothered

but still managing to put it on the front page

CountessDracula · 19/01/2007 19:26

quite foxy

I mean if I do accidentally flick it on there is always some completely inarticulate creature of little brain writhing around in a chair making noises that I can only assume are words....

OP posts:
foxinsocks · 19/01/2007 19:27

they had that woman ranting on the news (is it Jade?) and ds asked what language she was speaking!

2shoes · 19/01/2007 22:34

I just cannot believe this crap is making the news

sonsieface · 19/01/2007 22:37

without tele would suit me
