Have we driven you all mad with our demands and gripes and constant nitpicking? Grin

Have you all gone to a spa en masses?

Come back. We'll be nice for a bit Smile

I emailed yesterday to ask about a very odd thread deletion and had no reply. Maybe they're all at Euro 2016?

Just5minswithDacre · 14/06/2016 10:15

That could be it Grin

They must have left someone in the office, though.

Maybe some major misbehaviour would flush them out? Smile

ha! We wish, we've been busy but annoyingly have just this morning had an influx of reports that have been in limbo for a few days so we are clearing the backlog as we speak.

tribpot · 14/06/2016 10:24

Interesting. I reported several last week and never heard anything - wonder if MN should look at sending acknowledgements of reports so we know they've at least been received before being ignored Grin

Just5minswithDacre · 14/06/2016 10:32

Ah okay. So just the site collapsing then? No need for us to resort to anything drastic like best behaviour? Grin

A couple of my reports were met by a resounding silence too trib, including an awkward one where I reported myself Smile

According to some on here it's because the staff are all obviously -ist (insert appropriate word before-ist)

RebeccaMumsnet · 14/06/2016 11:23

We will reply to the reports so you may very well get a late response soon.

Tech have fixed the issue, we now have to deal with the backlog... Grin Wine

tribpot · 14/06/2016 11:26

I couldn't report the thread that was deleted (because it was deleted) so do you have inbound emails logged as well, Rebecca?

Queenbean · 14/06/2016 11:28

Is there any chance that the annoying pop-up robot advert could be deleted too? There's another thread about it but it's been popping up for over a week now!

Just5minswithDacre · 14/06/2016 12:04

I wonder where reports can go to get lost?

OP posts:
tribpot · 14/06/2016 12:05

Total speculation but they presumably get logged to a database and then something else runs a query to extract the list of reports that need actioning. Query goes wrong = no reports.

MiffleTheIntrovert · 14/06/2016 12:19

Toomany that was a nice little dig you made. I assume you are referring to all the disablist posts which have been so prevalent on MN recently.

I hope you saw the deletion message on the "AIBU to think teachers comments are wrong" thread. Perhaps you could take it on board and stop banging your very tiresome "SN brigade with chips on their shoulders lying in wait" drum?

PresidentOliviaMumsnet · 14/06/2016 18:26

Ahem

SilverBirchWithout · 14/06/2016 18:38

On a thread earlier where a particularly horrid argument broke out, posters were saying stuff like 'as my comment has not been deleted, must mean MNHQ don't agree with your report. Ya boo sucks to you actually it was fuck off you cunt'

MiffleTheIntrovert · 14/06/2016 18:52

Olivia whist you're here there's a thread in Site Stuff with more than 300 posts on and lots of people waiting kind of patiently about the recent disablist issues...

MiffleTheIntrovert · 14/06/2016 18:53

I can't link as on the app but it starts "Hey MNHQ "
