why does my member profile thing insist I haven't got kids?

I suspect I am being spectacularly stupid but I can;t work out how to alter this. have looked at the private profile/registration details or whatever(thinking they might be linked) but can't see where to change it.

and on another point why does it have to be the age of teh children - which is constantly changing - as opposed to their dob which is always the same? (bit of a pet niggle of mine...)

maybe the age changes automatically on their birthday?

RustyBear · 18/01/2007 18:53

Are your children's details registered? Because if they are, the age changes automatically - DS changed from 18 to 19 recently & I didn't do it!

I had this problem, i can't seem to enter that i have kids. i just wanted to put that i had 2, not their names or anything. My profile says i have no children though

If you go into 'My registration', right down at the bottom there's a bit asking if you've registered your children's details, with a link to a page where you can add, change or remove them (the details I mean, not the kids - mumsnet's not that clever yet!)

yep - just found it - it's a bit buried in its small blue print. thanks

I see you now have kids hatwoman.
Love the wormery/tumble drier thing. I now have a mental image of lots of worms tumbling merrily away...

Yes, my kids are mentioned as well now
