Just browsing a thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/2657452-One-twin-invited-to-birthday-party using safari on iPhone 5s. Suddenly a new page autoloads (see photo) with a new address. If you accidentally tap on the page then App Store opens, so far with a Gala Bingo or William Hill app. Make it stop!!

Oo just had that too. Not sure what it would open at, I pressed the 'X' on the popular and was given the option to leave App Store before it opened. Thought I pressed something but was sure I hadn't. iPhone 5s on safari.

It was on the 'gone behind his back to vote' thread.

I've been getting BT ones... always thought it was me, that my nails had grown too long for accurate typing

And again on the 'high heels' thread. I hadn't touched anything.

I think a new, blank, top banner ad loads, the whole thing pauses and then a new web address somehow is put in the address bar

Just happened to me twice on mobile site and I got a William Hill redirect. I was on the thread about the person drinking at a work party

I got it too and then sent to sky store. I couldn't close it had to use the back button.
I hate "screen takeovers"

So sorry that these ads are still popping up all over the place. There are a couple of other threads about this very same thing - we've alerted our Ads team and they're doing their best to sort things.

We'll let you know as soon as we've got some news.
