Spent hours last night putting pictures on my profile.......

and no one can see it.
It says Public profile so what am i doing wrong???

I don't think anyone can see mine either.

no and i have noticed some others ( misdee) who say they are on and nothing to see

The link to 'your photos' from the public profile went missing when tech fixed some of the other things. so noone will see your photos anyway at the moment (unless you add one to the front page)

We have complained bitterly . I'm sure he will mend it soon.

re not being able to see it at all - have you made the privacy setting so everybody can see it? I don't think the making a list of mates bit works yet so if you've chosen to do that it won't work. Tech should also be aware of this

That sounds a bit silly to me. I'm just putting it out as public.

And If I click on someones name and it says the privacy settings don't allow me to see it, it means I'm not one of their 'mates'?

grrrrr well i will have to gaze at them adoringly myself to make up for it...'wow lovely' 'so attractive' 'well behaved looking' ' she has done a fantastic job there' oh sorry got carried away...

princessmel, yes the idea is you can add people to your mates list and only they can view your profile - guess that's if you want to keep if very private. Don't think that it's working yet though. I can see the point though, some people won't want everyone to see...

the page that comes up if someone hasn't set up a profile says the same thing as it would if you weren't on their mates list, so you can't tell if the reason you can't see it is because they just don't like you or because they just haven't set up a profile. So unless you know they definitely HAVE set up a profile & you can't see it, there's no need to be offended!

I think the problem is that if no one has added you to their mates list, the system assumes no one likes you and that you're not in The Clique so refuses to display your photos.

but as I said somewhere else/before, there's no photo link at the mo so can't admire all those lovely children. tech MUST fix that soon, surely. Suspect he'll do it overnight though

This should be all working now. I inadvertently (read stupidly) deleted the pictures link from the bottom of the profile pages. It's back now.
