Why do threads I've hidden keep appearing in my search results?

I've noticed this happen a few times. I've been sure that I've hidden a thread only for it to appear when I AS. I then hide the thread again only for it once again to appear when I AS something .

Am I missing something here? I thought that when you hid a thread it was supposed to stay hidden until you decided to unhide it.

Generally if I've decided to hide a thread it's because I don't want to see it and I'm a bit when they then show up in my searches.

Admittedly I haven't used AS on my phone in a while so I don't know if it's the same on there. I'll have to check.

I've just tested this out using a very specific search which I know only produces a handful of results and a thread that I know for a fact should be hidden is still showing because I hid it earlier today.

I actually think you might be right. I've never really thought about it before but I just assumed it would still be hidden when you AS.
