'warning' note on site but not app?

Hello there MNHQ!

I popped on to the desktop site for the first time in forever earlier and noticed a note at the top of a thread in relationship saying "Mumsnet cannot guarantee the qualifications of those posting " etc etc, and it struck me I hadn't seen that in forever - because I only ever use the iPhone app.

I can't be the only one who uses the app more and doesn't see this stuff normally, surely? Should that note somehow be on the app threads too or is it just assumed under T&Cs?

Actually, it's not just the 'warnings' that don't appear. I generally use the app on an iPad and any links and information are absent also - eg on the main site Relationships board, there are links to two Mumsnet Webguides which people might use.

Interesting! I imagine it might be a space issue, but it feels like one which should be somehow tackled - maybe even at the top of the Board if not at the top of every single thread?

I suppose it would take up a lot of space on small screened devices and it's generally quite important not to push everything down so that people have to scroll. You're right that I haven't seen it in ages though, and it is important. Hmm.

Yes - and I'm guessing it's something that's been discussed and attempted at MNHQ, and decided against.

It's just that we're probably only now into the stage where some addicts like me people have been on this new app so long they won't have been back to the desktop site for a refresher, and actually it's an important message, along with the one on the MH boards...

... Do I need to report this to get it bumped to MNHQ's notice, does anyone else know?
