It may just be the time of year, but every other thread is about weddings. Would it be an idea to have a special topic reserved just for weddings?

You'll know from my extensive year on year analysis of Christmas Card trends that I am nerdy & have time on my hands have a special set of skills when it comes to analysis. I am happy to undertake some analysis of wedding thread trends on behalf of MN, with a view to developing relevant topic areas.

We could, for example, have them sub-divided as follows:

Weddings - flowers, placards & boring shit
Weddings - bridezillas & grabbiness
Weddings - outrageous guests

and the best for last

Weddings - MIL's / SIL's outrageous behaviour

In answer to the thread title, a resounding "hell, no!" I love the wedding craziness that pops up in AIBU and Chat. It is its own special kind of bonkers and provides a nice balance to some of the heavier topics.

Noo! They can be such fun. If OP is the zilla, she won't chose the bridezilla topic anyway.
