Try using the mobile site as a stop gap? I've not had any biscuits etc...

Flash Shockwave keeps crashing and freezing so I can't use MN without waiting ages for pages to load or scroll.

Active keeps coming up blank, or with biscuits.

I have problems with lag when typing or moving my cursor.

The whole site is really slow. It's not happening on other web pages.

It's driving me potty.

Well. we've been fiddling around with the font size to make it slightly larger and more readable. There's a whole thread about it here.

We had a few glitches which meant that while most Talk threads were displaying nicely, any that were accessed via Threads I'm On or Threads I'm Watching looked really tiny. Hopefully we've sorted this issue now.

In the meantime, we've had a wee problem with biscuits. Not sure if you've seen the other threads that have been knocking around, but you're not the only ones finding biscuits all over the site.

Our Tech team put in a fix this afternoon and it seems that for most of you, the problem has been solved.

No, not at all. Is only since I put the children to bed. Maybe 7pm UK time.

Also, what sidge said about lag and stuff. Making me want to pull me teeth out.

Mmm, tuns out it's on and off really. Seems the longer I'm on a page the worse it gets, until it just totally stops responding.

Slow to load, keeps crashing and generally being a pain. I'm on Chrome/Windows 10 on the desktop site, fwiw.

Much as I hate to moan, the site is still as bad now for me as it was yesterday evening . It has been all day. Dreadful. Lag. Lag. Lag. Flash thingy crashing. Unresponsive. All sorts.

Is it just me?

My font is still tiny in certain places. Hard to read.

yy, the fonts and stuff are still needing work here and there but things seem to be moving along with that.

I just want to be able to load threads, scroll a bit and maybe type something without crazy lag.

I don't type very fast and my screen is maybe 7 - 20 characters behind when I type, 3-5 seconds from clicking somewhere in the post I'm typing for the cursor to move.
Lag when scrolling too.
The longer a page is open the worse the issues get until it just stops working.
Pages never stop loading either (well they do if you leave them open for ages and ages in a tab by accident)

thats funny you are making the font bigger i'm spending my days, zooming out as the font is too damn big!!

I have the same as MrsLettuce constant lag making the desktop site unusable. It has been like this for nearly two weeks now, I did post about it on another thread. It is definitely MN as any other site I use is fine.
