Hi kosh71 - we're going to move this over to our Site Stuff topic which is the best place to get this sort of question answered.

The issue with threads asking where a thread has gone or why it was deleted is that they do tend to become threads about a thread (threads that rehash the same argument on the original thread) which is against our Talk Guidelines, or they become full of troll hunting, which again is against our Talk Guidelines.

We would say the best thing to do is report a post or email into [email protected] and ask us directly.

I am always worried when people start asking about deleted thread on a perfectly good thread. It's an easy (if sneaky) way to get somebody else's thread deleted. I do understand why TAATs can't be allowed to stand, MN would become bitch central.

However, you might start a thread about shoes and after a bit of good shoe themed bunfighting people come on "where did yesterday's trainer thread go?" and discuss why it was a troll thread. Before you know it your lovely shoe thread is zapped.

Yes, this is a really good point. Thanks paxillin.
