Uninvited change to app

Is there a way to stop mumsnet defaulting to the app? If I leave a standard thread open on a tab, to carry on reading later, when I reopen it, it instantly changes it to the app and closes safari. I don't want it to do this as it loses my place in a long thread and, as I can't remember my password, I can't post or bookmark.

Hi Waxlyrically, thanks for raising this - Universal Links works by automatically opening the app when a link is selected. All links to the Talk forum that you open will redirect to the app, however Universal Links can be switched off:

• Select a link that opens the app
• Select the 'mumsnet.com' button in the top-right corner
• You will be redirected back to see the thread on the site, and all future links to a thread you open will not automatically open in the app
