You should be able to bring that up in Customise if you have the right Customise. Warning. If you're currently on MN Classic and don't want to change I seem to recall that saving a change on Customise forces you into MN New. You may not want that.

ohhh, have I maybe lost it by accident? thanks, cozie. (I am on New, I gave up on Classic in order to have bookmarks etc )

I've checked, 'hide viewport bar' is set to No. So maybe that isn't what it's called?

Especially for you, I went into Customise - I don't normally like to mess with it in case they decide to do something awful like stop grandfathering me and give me Mini-Customise - and changed that setting. Nothing happened.

Maybe it's been removed and we missed the memo?
