With regard to the Meningitis advice and symptoms to look out for on the Home page.Can I point out that there is not always a rash. My dd did not have that symptom as in a lot of other cases. Daisy only developed the rash when sepsis took hold in her last hours.
A point worth mentioning perhaps?

Thanks Becca It is a rash that we are all told to look for and on the NHS page it states that a rash is not always visible.
Thing is it's almost at the bottom of the page. Imagine being in a panic and looking for info, everyone would read the first few symptoms and find a glass.
So it's good to get the message out on here and maybe help another Mum.

Oh I should add a symptom in babies is a dry nappy, very noticable and obviously not feeding from breast or bottle. Breast feeding doesn't give immunities as I bf Daisy until 12 months

Just looked at homepage again, very good advice. The people at Meningitis Now are wonderful and have been very helpful to me

Me again I've found out that an app with symtoms of meningitis is availiable by ringing the Meningitis Now number. This app is for android and iphone. Possibly a good addition to the info on front page.
