Mobile site keeps switching to desktop site

The first couple of times I thought I had accidentally done something, but now I know I haven't! I'll click on a thread on the mobile site (using Firefox on an android phone) and it'll open in desktop mode. Or I'll be reading a thread in mobile then click active and it'll go back to desktop. Is this just me..?

Hi jinxdragon - hmm this sounds frustrating. We've not heard of anyone else having this problem so far, but we'll see if we can help.

Is there a particular pattern when this happens? Is it when you're opening threads only? Is it in a particular topic?

Hi jinx - looks like I was wrong! There are posters having almost the same issue, with the mobile or desktop site flicking to the app. We'll look into it, but any extra info would be really useful. Thank you.

It's mainly going between threads and active, I don't use specific topics really just go to what interests me from active. It doesn't do it unless I'm navigating somewhere else iyswim, from a thread to active or vice versa.

It happens to me on the iPad...no pattern to it, but maybe once a week? I just click back to mobile at the bottom of the screen.

Me! Just gone to site from iPhone and the format is that of the desktop site - makes it unreadable on a tiny phone

On my iPad, the mobile site sometimes switches to the desktop site, which is easy to change back, but has recently started switching to the app when I open threads.
