Is anyone else having bother on the mobile site with time delay since the ads have started.

The ads at the bottom, the ones that are like on you tube.

My phone seems to freeze. When typing the words don't show immediately. It takes aves to load a page. The page jumps about all over the place. Sometimes my posts don't post and it just buffers.

It isn't my phone as I only have trouble with MN, all other sites I go on load perfectly.

It's really frustrating

Oh and half of the ads are like this. Constantly buffering. Not that I look at them anyway but surely it is slowing everything up.

Yes! And it isn't the first time. I've seen threads on this for the last few months, things improve and then it happens all over again.

Please please please MNHQ can you stop having video ads on the site?

It's really annoying. It has taken ages to post a handful of times in the last hour.

Are MNHQ aware of it?

Yeah either that or it reloads and I lose what I've been typing

Each time it's happened before there's been a thread, Tech takes a look, it gets fixed then it repeats all over again within a week or month or whatever.

I've reported this thread to them so they can take a look again.

FFS where's the rest of my post. I typed. Yes Etak that happens to me too. Using Samsung S4.

All up to date with updates, anti virus etc.. like I say it is only on MN I seem to get bother. Tapping on the screen on the reply box takes about 20 goes and then like you say I either end up tapping on the ad or whipped up to the top of the page.

Or I inadvertently tap on the link for the desktop site

We've alerted our Ads team and let them know which devices you're using, so hopefully they're on the case now.

If anyone can catch one of these ads or let us know what they're advertising, please do.

Dawn I don't get to see most of the ads as they are buffering. I did see a Co-op one earlier.

Just captured this one. It's a video advert as opposed to a still. Don't know what it is as I ended up coming off the thread as the page froze...

I agree. And its happened before. It's usually the film clips from youtube. The video ads just demand too much bandwidth on the mobile site. Can we have static ones that aren't so overpowering?

There's a pizza advert (Domino's?) that makes my typing not appear right away and keeps causing the page to reload. I don't think it's a video advert either so I'm not sure why.

Just been harassed by a body form advert. 3 time I ended up tapping on the ad trying to tap the reply box. Now I have the old advert song off rhe TV as an ear worm. FFS!

This ad is on a loop at the moment. It doesn't fully play so I don't know what it is. Just sick of seeing his face.
