help needed re name changing

I think I've overshared a bit, plus some family stuff means I'm not comfy with this name any longer.
If I NC, will I lose my list of watched threads, threads I'm on, etc?

No. But be careful cause you might accidentally post and out yourself.

And you don't have to stick to just one new name.I gather some people keep separate names for as many different topics as they regularly visit. Others have one main name for general chat and another for anything particularly personal. But you still retain all your watched and TIOs.

As RealHuman and Grauch have said, if you name change you are still using the same account so none of your settings will change.
