I don't want a daily email from MN. However, hitting 'unsubscribe' appears to have removed me from all email lists - I am happy to continue with a weekly roundup, book group emails, and various odds and sods about competitions, chats, various other things. Is there any way to unsubscribe from one thing only?

Hi there bigbadbarry

So sorry about that - you can now unsubscribe from Daily mails here: www.mumsnet.com/member/email-options, under 'Parenting news or Mumsnet Daily'

Perfect - thank you :)

Um - it just shows as parenting news, I can't see any mention of mumsnet daily. Have clicked it off anyway with fingers crossed.

Take another look now! We've added (just for you, mind) the Mumsnet Daily bit now. Grin

Hassled · 05/02/2016 20:08

Oh blimey - I clicked unsubscribe faster than a speeding bullet when the realisation that I was going to get a daily email hit - hadn't worked out that meant I'd unsubscribed from the lot. Have amended.

Hassled · 05/02/2016 20:09

And does anyone really want a daily email from MN? Much as I love you all, that's an email or six too many. What was your reasoning?

BIWI · 05/02/2016 20:10

Traffic.

BoreOfWhabylon · 05/02/2016 20:19

Oh thank god - have unsubscribed to everythng except 'Talk Roundup' and 'MN Swears By'

Er. . It's still not there!

IonaMumsnet · 05/02/2016 23:03

Oh no, BigBadHarry! Come back with your cake!

This is most odd. It should say 'Parenting News or Mumsnet Daily' at the top of the right hand column under 'Choose Your Newsletters'. If it's still not appearing, maybe try logging out and then in again but it definitely should be there now. Do please post again though if you've done all that and it's still not appearing and we'll see if we can think of something else to try...

Can I have that cake now, please?

bigbadbarry · 06/02/2016 07:42

I've scrolled it down a bit to hide my email address, but screenshot here. Will log out and in and try again...

(No right-hand column! Is this because I'm on my iPad?) Logged out and back in and it hasn't changed. Am now sitting on my cake.

Hi BigBadHarry. It

bigbadbarry · 06/02/2016 13:59

You can have cake if you call me Barry not Harry. It's only slightly squashed.
It shows up as expected on my PC so all fixed now I think! Thank you Cake

Hello bigbadbarry

The magic of screenshots! We can now see that we've neglected to update the mobile site with the Mumsnet daily unsubscribe option . Tech will get right on to it - but in the meantime, if you go to the same page on the desktop site, you should be able to do it there.

Thanks v much and apols again.

KateMumsnet · 06/02/2016 19:13

...And that'll learn me to read more carefully. Sheesh. Glad you sorted it though.

bigbadbarry · 06/02/2016 19:42
