what happened to the red jiggly box that told you that you had a message??

... anyway, I agree with you. The new PM icon/whatever is not so 'obvious' is it? The first time I got a PM after the 'new layout' was introduced, I barely noticed it.

I loved the yellow & red envelope box - at least you could see it immediately. I can't even remember what we're supposed to look out for now

Also a veteran of the 'potato' meet in 2014!

The bit where it says 'My Mumsnet' gets a little icon in it that I can't remember what it looks like.

We hear you! We don't think we'll have much luck getting the red/yellow envelopes back, but we can go ask Tech if they can make the purple thing jiggle AND tinkle.
